The AGC Construction Leadership Council (CLC) is committed to providing an open forum to foster a strong network among peers, educating others, and developing our members to become future leaders in our industry.

Your Membership

Developing your employees’ professional and people skills is important for the continuing success of your organization. CLC members learn from programs, courses, and community service projects that are all designed to improve job related capabilities and leadership ability. The seminars, education, and charitable events encourage professionals to establish industry wide contacts that can stimulate professional and business development.

Your CLC membership is an individual membership that is active for one calendar year. If your company is an AGC, Kansas City Chapter member, your dues for the full year are $60, or $30 for the pro-rated half year. If your company is not an AGC member, but a member of The Builders' Association, your dues for the full year will be $120, or $60 for the pro-rated half year. (If you do not know which organization your company has membership with, contact Caleb McCandless at 816.595.4161.)

Members will receive The Builders’ Association’s quarterly Modern Builder Magazine; email notification to all CLC and education programs; and discounted rates to CLC events.

To join the CLC, or to renew your membership for the year, you can register and pay online.

About the CLC

Professional Development

The Construction Leadership Council is dedicated to providing quality education programs to our members. Industry professionals are invited to speak to us regarding leadership as well as issues that are timely and important to the way contractors do business.

Networking and Social Events

CLC gives motivated professionals many opportunities to network with peers and members of other industry organizations through our many social events such as jobsite tours and happy hours, as well as our annual bowling, Royals and T-Bones Nights.

Community Projects

The Kansas City CLC is proud to benefit the community by taking on small projects at the Sherwood Center, which provides educational and therapeutic services for children and adults with autism.

The Future of AGC

The Construction Leadership Council functions as a place for young professionals to network and receive support. At the same time, it aids the industry by highlighting its future leaders, supporters and voice.
