Builders' Association Political

Action Committee (BAPAC)

The Builders’ Association Political Action Committee (BAPAC), is a bipartisan, multi-candidate state and local political action committee funded by voluntary donations from members of The Builders' Association and Kansas City Chapter, AGC. Members’ voluntary contributions to BAPAC have historically been put to very good use. During the period between 1980 and 2012, 90 percent of BAPAC's contributions were made to Missouri and Kansas candidates who were subsequently elected to state or local office.

BAPAC supports candidates who are knowledgeable about the construction industry and share our views on legislation that may be critical to the industry and our members. Your company is often directly affected by decisions made by state and local elected officials. It is critically important that the Association have input into the decision-making processes at all levels of government. Our Government Relations program has had considerable success over the years and BAPAC has played a significant role in that effort.

You are strongly encouraged to support your business and your industry with a financial donation to BAPAC on an annual basis. Both personal and PAC checks are acceptable. They may be made payable to BAPAC and sent to: BAPAC, 720 Oak Street, Kansas City, MO 64106.
